Opportunities for Artists

Open Art Viewing Program
The Painting Center’s Open Art Viewing Program offers the opportunity for painters to enter slides or CDs with digital images of their work on them. Their work is collected in a registry which is regularly consulted for inclusion in group shows in the gallery, or solo shows in the Project Room. In addition, the registry is available to outside curators.

Online Art File
The Painting Center Art File is a juried virtual gallery space. Selected artists benefit from exposure via the The Painting Center website to thousands of visitors from over 100 countries each year. Each Artfile artist webpage features three artworks, an artist statement, email contact, and a link to the artist’s personal webpage. In addition to web exposure Artfile artists have also become active with The Painting Center gallery by becoming member artists and being selected for group exhibitions at The Painting Center.
