Note: These guidelines are for applications to The Painting Center’s on-line Art File only. To submit work for our exhibition spaces, please visit: Exhibition Submissions.

If you would like to submit your work to The Painting Center’s Art File, please submit the following:

1. A CD containing three digital images (180-300 dpi preferred, up to 5″ physical width), with accompanying documentation (as mentioned here for slides, and below) in a plain text file format. Or submit three slides of your work clearly marked with your name, title of work, medium, dimensions, date, and price.

2. A short biography no more than 50 words, containing the most pertinent information about you and your work.

3. The completed Application form.

4. A check for $75.00 made out to Cecily Kahn. (This is an annual maintenance fee.)

5. A self–addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage for the return of your materials. The Painting Center cannot return slides without a SASE.
