The Painting Center's Artist Registry
The Painting Center’s Artist Registry offers the opportunity for painters to enter digital images of their work to be collected in the registry which is regularly consulted for inclusion in group shows in the gallery, or solo shows in the Project Room. In addition, the registry is available to outside curators.
There is at least one group show a year curated by a member, or members of the gallery. These “Selections” shows are largely funded by the gallery and supplemented by a small contribution requested from the selected artists.
If an artist is selected for a Project Room Exhibition he or she will be contacted. A Project Room exhibition requires a contribution. The participating artist keeps 80% of any sale issuing from his or her show.
Deadlines
Email digital images by email only between October 15th and July 15th. Submissions sent after the deadline will not be viewed.
To Apply
Please email the following:
- 5 digital images each measuring 200 KB (all images submited should add up to 1 mb total), with accompanying documentation labeled with: artist’s name, title of work, date, size, and medium.
- Artist’s Resume/CV: (should include artist's name, address, phone, email, website)
