She has shown at SOHO20 in NYC, the Salle Sandoz in Paris and will show at 1708 Gallery in Richmond, the Meridian Museum of Art and the Issac Delgado Gallery in New Orleans in the fall of 2001.
Oliver currently divides her time between her studio in Virginia and sitework in New England and Scotland. Her current body of work addresses the history of language, symbols and material culture. These fragmentary objects defy their origins and celebrate their existence through the use of autobiography, recycling of myths and the exploration of the reciprocal effects of entropy and nature in our material world.
