Artist Statment

With a heightened interest in the natural world and the spiritual aspects of our lives, the artist shares her vision of these. The richly energized paintings evoke the natural and spiritual beauty of this world. Highly personalized paint application, color choices and composition enhance the messages presented by the painter.

The creations are enhanced as the paintings evolve from conceptual to actual. Thinking beyond the confines of traditional painting, the artist’s free spirit soars. Through automatism and sometimes with “stepping away” to control the painting, the work progresses. The completed works then evoke their own uniquely personal interpretations.
