Cecily Kahn

Artist Biography

Cecily Kahn is a native New Yorker who has lived in the city most of her life. Her paintings reflect both the angularity and the exciting chaos of city life. Her work is represented by Lohin Geduld Gallery on 25th Street in NYC, and Thomas Deans Gallery in the Tula Art Center in Atlanta. Reviews of her work have appeared in Art in America, The New York Times, NY Arts, The Brooklyn Rail, and d’Art International. Cecily is a member of the American Abstract Artists group, and is Chairman of the Board of The Painting Center.
