Artist Biography
Kathy A. Moore works from direct observation of the motif whether it is a still life, landscape or the figure. Her work has been selected into 17 national juried art competitions by renowned painters and gallery owners William Bailey, Lois Dodd, Bernard Chaet, Barbara Grossman, Gregory Amenoff, Larry Salander, and Lori Bookstein. A recent group exhibit was held at the First Street Gallery, NYC. Her recent 2008 solo exhibits were in the Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati and the Ann Miller Gallery at Wittenberg University, Springfield, both in Ohio. She received a BFA in painting from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio.
