Artist Statement
Randee Silv paints with the expressiveness of gesture in a context of textural depth and nuance - with a relish for change, risk and movement. Silv became immersed in the tactile vitality of the walls in Morocco. The imbedded storytelling of their wear and tear, repaintings and graffiti have fused with the momentum of her work. She is represented by Rhonda Schaller Gallery in NYC and Jackson Street Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming.
