I am an international artist from Scotland, based in the United States.
The Arena series is a new body of work in a long investigation into paintings dichotomy of structure and chaos, order and chance.
My interests are the primeval properties of paint itself and the impact that historical and contemporary concepts of space have impacted the medium.
The act and process of my painting is a direct result of my experience of the contemporary condition.
