Fluid Fields features 31 contemporary artists that engage the fluid, organic quality of the watercolor medium. The exhibit is an attempt to show how varied and experimental this medium can be.

Carmela Kolman’s compositions of richly hued fruit and beaded necklaces evoke abundance, fertility, and glamour. Her paintings’ compressed recession and expansive spaces abstract the tabletop format of the still life genre.
