The Painting Center is pleased to present the benefit exhibition hosted virtually on Artsy. The benefit exhibition will be active online from November 10, 2022 - January 25, 2023. We hope that you consider purchasing a work in the benefit exhibition in support of The Painting Center programs and the participating artists.

For 29 years, The Painting Center has been dedicated to deepening the dialogue surrounding painting by encouraging experimentation and diverse viewpoints. We continue to provide exhibition opportunities for emerging, mid-career, and under-recognized artists. By mounting consistently high quality and thoughtful exhibitions, The Painting Center has gained a reputation as a serious and relevant venue for contemporary art.

The benefit exhibition brings together the works of artists who believe in the mission of The Painting Center, and want to help ensure its continued vitality. All of the works in the benefit exhibition will be priced at $400 and accessible online only through Artsy. 50% of all sales will go to support The Painting Center programming and 50% of all sales will go to the participating artists.

The Painting Center programming highlights many facets of contemporary art and artists have gained exposure exhibiting with us. Over the past three years, we hosted invitationals and multiple member exhibitions, thesis exhibitions, numerous online and juried exhibitions featured on Artsy. Our advisory board members sponsored exhibitions as well as membership, and the members sponsored artists for invitational exhibitions.

The creative decisions we have made in our programming over the past three years invigorated our community and we are eager to explore innovative projects in the future. Also, we hope to sponsor more outreach to the art community and sponsor artists. Thank you for your continued support of The Painting Center.
