heather abshire
Heather Abshire is a New York-based artist. She received a BFA from Marywood University and has exhibited and is featured in private collections across the US. She co-curated a private corporate art collection and was an exhibiting artist at Saatchi's The Other Art Fair. She recently was an artist-in-residence at Carrie Able Gallery in 2022.
"I use my work to examine and re-frame my anxieties and introspection. Each piece is surreal, with moments of figurative components. My subject matter is distorted and isolated from its context to re-illustrate stories and representations of human nature."
