SAM KING
Sam King has exhibited at galleries, artist-run spaces, and universities across the country, and his work is held in a number of public and private collections. He lives in Fayetteville, AR, where he serves as an associate professor of art for the University of Arkansas School of Art.
“My work addresses time, memory, and the vulnerability of the self, through improvisation, composition, and the physicality of material. By alternatingly reinforcing and transgressing conventions of visual perception, I hope to engage and perhaps even implicate the viewer in the work.”
