Donna Bruni
American painter, Donna Bruni, uses broad, richly layered planes of color to create paintings with palpable atmospheric resonance. The work is influenced by the continual movement of nature, the paradigm we live in. Daily observation of shifting light patterns, water, wind, air, land and sky, become visual elements for her abstract compositions.
Bruni received her BA from the University of Minnesota. Collaborative projects include commissions for public healthcare institutions, boutique hotels and private collections worldwide. Notable exhibitions include: Art in the Embassies, Riga, Latvia, San Salvador, El Salvador; DF&A Gallery, Minneapolis, MN; Gardner Colby Gallery, Naples, FL.
