Kevin Sloan is a Denver-based artist working in acrylic on canvas. He received a BFA from Tyler School of Art and an MFA from the University of Arizona. His work is found in collections including the Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Tucson Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts Santa Fe, and the Tampa Museum of Art, Florida.
“My work embraces both the magnificent and the mundane in the natural world. Finding this balance as a visual storyteller has led me to use symbols, metaphors and allegories. With these tools I can better describe the world as I experience it and point to something beyond what is most obvious.”
