Jenn Wood
Jenn is a Boston artist producing acrylic and mixed media work informed by nature, decay, renewal and climate. Color, texture, luminosity, and process are structural concerns. Her work has been exhibited at galleries, museums and art fairs in Boston, NYC, Miami, Berlin, LA, Provincetown and elsewhere. Education: BFA, MassArt; MFA, UMD/CVPA.
"Aesthetic and life concerns include nature, ocean and the environment. Since childhood I've been a gardener, ocean addict, and informal naturalist. Recurring imagery of water, plants, and Earth Goddess are evident in my work as abstracted and realistic. The concepts of 'wabi sabi' and 'intimate immensity' are also of great interest."
