“I hold an MFA in Painting from Columbia University, and a BA in Visual Art from Bennington College. Fellowships and awards include Skowhegan, VCCA, Puffin Foundation, and The Artist's Fellowship Inc. I have an extensive exhibition record, and reviews include the New York Times and Art in America.
In my series Jungle Ladies, my hybrid figures enact a variety of situations in ambiguous landscapes. In particular, I am interested in the ways in which emotional and psychological states can be cogently expressed via distortions of the body, and the dynamic visual stories that the female body can tell.”
