Joanne Tarlin
Joanne Tarlin earned an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University and a BFA from the Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design. Her paintings were featured in the Maine Arts Journal and recently in the March/April Edition of New England Home Magazine.
“I utilize allegories to convey my thoughts about the human condition through abstract and semi-abstract paintings of constructed seascape and landscapes. Like Van Gogh's walks in nature and Turner's by the sea, I too find inspiration and seek to create the power and complexity of forces through color and composition.”
