Susan Barrett
Susan Barrett is a painter and mixed-media artist whose work explores themes of time, place and transformation. She did her undergraduate work at Rhode Island School of Design and New York University and received a Master's degree in painting from Hunter College.
"My paintings are reimaginings of my accumulated memories and observations. When I work, I often weave together images from sometimes completely different sources or perhaps intertwine different views of the same subject. This conversation between imagery is at the center of my work."
