Theresa DeSalvio
Theresa DeSalvio is a painter, filmmaker and author. Since moving to the Hudson Valley in 2019, her work has focused on themes related to daily living, the quiet drama of everyday life. DeSalvio holds a MFA from CUNY Hunter College, NYC and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, NYC.
“My paintings are inspired by time spent in the kitchen - cooking and making potions, gardening, foraging, interacting with animals, and spending time with my family. I attempt to capture the quiet drama of daily living. These images are both personal and universal.”
