Mary Powers-Holt is a painter inspired by patterns and atmospheric color in nature. Her paintings describe a solitary discovery of place and how the same view is modified with repeated observation and suggest the passage of time.
Mary Powers-Holt lives and works in Chester County, PA. She studied visual arts at The PA Academy of the Fine Arts and earned a Four-year certificate and BFA through the Academy and the University of Pennsylvania's coordinated degree program. She has exhibited recently in Philadelphia at Cerulean Arts Gallery as a Collective member, The Inliquid Gallery, and as an Artist in Residence 2.0 at the Fitler Club.
