ELIZABETH DE BETHUNE

“I make mostly 2-dimensional images, primarily with representational/observed content, often in a painterly realist style, using painting, drawing, printmaking, and collage processes. My subjects are usually my family and friends, often in domestic, quotidian settings conveying intimacy. I think a lot about the way that color creates light.”
