“My paintings, made with oil paint, charcoal and graphite, are multilayered representations of my intricate stick sculptures. They are inspired by the messy geometry that exists in the grids of tree canopies and thickets. I am drawn to the ephemeral light, air, and shadow, and the spaces around and within.”
